Kate Chua, who has earned a BSc Neuroscience, has been awarded this year's Gold Medal (Science). The most important lesson she learned at uLethbridge is that it is important to allow yourself to make your own path and not one that is expected of you.

Proper rehabilitation is required after a traumatic brain or spinal cord injury to promote long-term recovery. Elani's studies focused on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy as a more efficient, cost-effective alternative to CT scans and MRI for diagnosing brain and spinal cord injury.
