The Field Experience office arranges practicum placements for student teachers each semester, placing ED2500, PSI, PSII, and PSIII students in various schools around southern Alberta, across Canada, and beyond, and connects each one of them with a teacher mentor to guide them on their journey.

Born in Calgary, Andrew Doyle (BA/BEd '10, MEd '20) moved to Lethbridge while in junior high when his mom attended the Faculty of Education. Coming from a family of schoolteachers, including a great-aunt who is a past Alberta Teachers’ Association president, Doyle enrolled in 2007.
