Second-year archaeology and geography student Natalia Vanzo Jais hails from Florianópolis, Brazil. She chose the University of Lethbridge because it was the only institution where she could study archaeology and geography in the same program.

The Global Citizenship Cohort and Co-op Opportunities Inspired Antoine Gendron to Create Environmental Change

After his final project in the GCC, Antoine was invited to sit as a board member on the Oldman Watershed Council from June 2017 until June 2019. He founded the Earth Day Symposium, an event that continues four years later, as well as having completed a sixteen-month co-op at Agri-Food Canada.

Diverse Skill Set Aids Geography Graduate Banting in Professional Career

For geography alumnus James Banting (BSc ’09, MSc ’16), the University of Lethbridge was the environment he needed to discover his passion. He started with general science, looked at political science and finally settled on geography.

Katie Quinn (geography) had the opportunity recently to complete an applied study at Lethbridge County that focused on agricultural superclusters and how one would best contribute to the county. Her research culminated in a special presentation to Lethbridge County Council.
