Shining Students are engaged inside and outside of the classroom. What makes a student shine may differ from person to person, but they all share a passion for learning. They may be top students or involved in an innovative project, or possibly they are participating in ground-breaking research, playing Pronghorn athletics, fighting for social issues or all of the above!
When students find something they enjoy and combine it with what they are good at, they shine.
Each year we showcase Shining Students in several ways. For example, students may be profiled on our websites, in videos and/or in uLethbridge publications. In addition, we invite them to participate in Open House and other events. Shining Students truly exemplify the U of L student spirit and their unique perspective is precisely what their peers want to hear about.
