The most important lesson I learned is that there's no 'right' path, with dedication and strong community support, you'll always get to where you want to be.
Is there someone specific who had an important influence on your ULethbridge experience?
My supervisors Drs. Gerlinde Metz, Jean-Baptiste Leca, Afra Foroud, and Sorina Truica are incredible mentors who all influenced my research interests and the type of scientist I aspire to be.

The scholarships and awards I received encouraged me to attend various conferences to present my research.
What are your hopes/plans for the future?
I plan to attend an MD/PhD program in hopes of becoming a physician-scientist. I also plan to start a non-profit focusing on the intersections of racism and health in today’s society.
