Multidisciplinary Visual Artist | Educator
Marta Timmer (Blicharz) is a multidisciplinary visual artist working in glitch art, graphic design, installation, photography, collage, painting, and drawing. In her art, Marta explores themes of identity, ethereality, consumerism, dystopian worlds, subconscious drives, and the sublime. She has exhibited and presented in solo and group contexts, in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Chicago, and Lethbridge – to name a few. If not at an easel or a computer screen, you will find her designing at Wild Forest Inc., helping to produce the next CAMP Festival in Calgary, or teaching New Media at the University of Lethbridge Calgary Campus.
