C. Blake Evernden is a filmmaker, illustrator, and makeup FX designer. He has crafted two feature films as writer-director, and has worked professionally as a key and/or special makeup FX artist on four features, Blake recently won Best Special FX at San Antonio’s Horrorfest, as well as awards for work on more than 18 shorts, music videos and commercials. His personal practice in cinema focuses on the practical analog aspects of cinema, crafting acrylic matte paintings, prosthetics FX design, and miniature works. As an illustrator, his work was recently published as the cover art for the July edition of Rue Morgue magazine.
