What is your most memorable ULethbridge experience?

One of my most memorable experiences at the University of Lethbridge was serving as a Marketing Director for the Chillin' 4 Charity event, hosted by the Dhillon Business Students' Association. The event raised funds for the United Way Lethbridge and South Western Alberta to tackle social isolation and education inequality. It was inspiring to see the university and community come together, with participants plunging into ice water to raise awareness. Helping organize this event highlighted the power of community involvement and strengthened my passion for making a difference.

Another memorable experience was attending the two-day Student Professional Development Conference, hosted by the Dhillon School of Business, which provided valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth. As someone who is passionate about personal and professional growth, I’m grateful that the university offers platforms like these, which have significantly shaped my learning and development during my time here.

The most important lesson I learned during my time at the University of Lethbridge is the value of collaboration and community engagement. Within the Dhillon School of Business, I discovered that working together with peers, faculty, and community members can lead to more impactful outcomes. Whether it was organizing events or participating in workshops, I realized that diverse perspectives and teamwork not only enhance learning but also foster innovation and drive positive change. This lesson has shaped my approach to challenges and reinforced my commitment to making a difference in the community.

Who has had an important influence on your ULethbridge experience?

One of the most influential aspects of my experience at the University of Lethbridge has been my small network of friends. They provided constant support and motivation, bringing together unique strengths and perspectives that enriched our experiences. From intense study sessions to relaxing hang outs, the camaraderie we shared made our academic journey more enjoyable and helped us grow both personally and professionally. I’m grateful for the bonds we've formed, as they’ve significantly shaped my university experience and highlighted the importance of collaboration and community.

What are your hopes/plans for the future? What's next?

My hopes for the future include climbing the ladder in my career, where I aim to develop my skills and take on more significant responsibilities in the business field. I also plan to continue expanding my small business, Jedyny Design, and explore opportunities to grow it further.

In the long term, I envision starting a larger business that combines my two degrees in Biology (Health) and Business. This would allow me to leverage my diverse background and create innovative solutions that address health and wellness needs. I'm excited about the possibilities ahead and look forward to making a meaningful impact in both the business and health sectors while standing strong in my Faith and walk with God as it shines through all the work that I do.
