Inaugurated at the University of Lethbridge's Spring 2003 Convocation, School of Graduate Studies Medals of Merit are awarded to graduating students from each degree program for excellence in their studies. Graduating with a Master of Education (Educational Leadership), Brandon Good (MEd '25) is now a recipient of this prestigious award.
Brandon's ULethbridge experience has been marked by his graduate research deepening the understanding of the work of K-12 educators. A dedicated and passionate learner, his research highlights the importance of placing learning processes at the forefront of leadership decision-making. Brandon hopes to continue exploring this area in a future school administrative role, where he can support more effective, research-informed leadership.

While some tasks can seem insurmountable, the only way to ensure that you never finish is to never start. The first step is always the hardest!

What does this academic recognition mean to you?
I am humbled to receive recognition for my work and am grateful for the acknowledgement of the time and effort it took.
Is there someone specific who had an important influence on your ULethbridge experience?
Dr. Pamela Adams and Dr. Kevin Wood. Without their support, questions and gentle prodding, I would not have attempted to write a thesis, let alone completed it. They helped me to see the potential they saw in me, and for that I am eternally grateful.
What are your hopes/plans for the future?
I hope to continue my teaching career and find a position as a school administrator.
