Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I was born and raised in Calgary (go Flames!). After graduating high school I took a couple of years off to work and travel. I have always been interested in finance, so I decided on the Business Administration program at Mount Royal College, majoring in finance and accounting. After living in High River for several years, I moved to Lethbridge in 2006 and have been here ever since!

How long have you been at ULethbridge and what do you do here?
I have been at ULethbridge since 2018. I started in Facilities, at the service desk (term position). Then I moved to a continuing position as Administrative Support in the Faculty of Arts & Science, supporting the Department of Modern Languages & Linguistics, the Department of Indigenous Studies, and the Indigenous Student Success Certificate program. After five years in that role, I moved to my current position as Executive Assistant to Nancy Walker, VP Finance & Admin, and Cathy Kanashiro (BMgt '91), AVP Finance.

What’s the best part of your job?
I love the sense of community and lifelong learning that comes with working at the University. Every day is different here, with new challenges and experiences. The collaborative and friendly atmosphere, plus the opportunity to interact with and support students at every level of their educational journey has been inspiring and rewarding.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love to spend time outside exploring the coulees and enjoying the many walking trails throughout the city.  I also spend time at home baking, crafting, and trying to keep my ever-growing collection of house plants alive.
