My name is… Jennifer Ralph

I’m studying… Education, but I graduated with a Bachelor of Music in 2018.

I chose uLethbridge because… I felt it would be a much more personal experience. I came for Student for a Day and met some of my professors and they were all excited to meet me and so welcoming!

The thing I’ve enjoyed most about uLethbridge has been… How involved I am able to be with the University community. I got to work as a new student mentor, I was vice-president of the Education Undergraduate Student society, I’m in a bunch of clubs and I love it all.

My uLethbridge professors have… Shown me great examples of what loving a job looks like. They are so passionate about what they do and they really model the idea of ‘if you love what you do than work doesn’t really feel like work.”

When I’m finished my studies… I plan to be a middle-school music teacher.

If I could give future students one piece of advice… I’d say you will make friends and find the people that share the same interests as you. Yes, University can seem scary, but there are people here who care about you and will help you every step of the way!
