Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I was born in India, where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Commerce. I then moved to Singapore, where I spent a couple of years learning about its rich culture and diverse cuisines. Later, I came to Canada and completed a Diploma in Business Administration at Lethbridge College. Two years ago, I joined Compass Group as an Office Manager and have since been promoted to General Manager.

What does your position here at ULethbridge involve? Are you planning any changes?

As General Manager, I oversee food service operations, ensuring quality, efficiency and exceptional customer experience. My role involves managing daily operations, leading a strong team and continuously improving service standards. I plan to enhance menu options by introducing more diverse and healthy choices, implementing sustainable practices, and creating a more engaging dining experience for students, staff and visitors.

What's the best part of your job?

The best part of my job is working with a dedicated team to provide excellent service to the ULethbridge community. I also enjoy the opportunity to be creative with food concepts and see the positive impact of our work on students' and staff's daily lives.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my family, especially with my 10-month-old, who keeps me busy and brings so much joy. Outside of family time, I love playing pickleball and working on DIY projects around the house.
