I would like to pursue a business degree.
What sparked your interest in sports?
Ever since I was young I couldn’t stop playing the sport.
What excites you about sport?
The passion everyone has makes the sport so much more.
Tell us about your proudest accomplishment in sport?
Starting in the Pronghorn’s season opener on my first year.
Who is your mentor or inspiration?
I would say my dad as he is one of the reasons I am always motivated.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
Black history month is way more than the celebration of Black people one month of a year. It’s a starting point to show the many contributions Black people continue to make in communities and around the world.
What does it mean to you to be a Black athlete in university sport?
I find it as a huge accomplishment as I am one of the first university student-athletes in my family.
What words of inspiration would you share with young BPOC athletes?
To never let people put doubt and affect your goal.
What is one thing you wished people knew about you and your culture?
Black culture draws from a variety of influences born both in and outside Black communities.
