Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I was born, raised and educated in Lethbridge. I fell in love with academia and completed my BA at a leisurely pace. Tumbling further down the academic rabbit hole, I completed an MA in Religious Studies, and, still not satisfied, I went on to complete a PhD in Religious Studies, specializing in Medieval Hindu Theology. After graduating, I returned to Lethbridge to wait out COVID.

How long have you been at ULethbridge and what do you do here?
I have worked at the University of Lethbridge for just over a year now. I started working in the Faculty of Education and now I am a Research Facilitator in the Office of Research and Innovation Services. I work with researchers applying for funding. On the pre-award side of things, I help researchers to identify funding and develop grant applications. On the post-award side, I help researchers manage their grants and meet funding and reporting requirements.

What's the best part of your job?
I get to read research all day! ULethbridge is home to some brilliant minds, exciting ideas, and I have a front-row seat.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Friday afternoons you can find me heading west to the mountains. I mountain bike in the summer and ski in the winter.
