My proudest moment was winning U SPORTS Nationals my rookie year.(Angelo spent his first season with the Calgary Dinos) I barely played that year but just to be around that kind of success was incredible and it showed what level I needed to be at to be able to compete with the best.

It is a month to celebrate Black culture no matter where you are from.
What does it mean to you to be a Black athlete in university sport?
I believe it means when you go out and play your perspective sport, you are not only representing the name that’s in front of your jersey but also a culture that is shown all around the globe based on the colour of your skin.
What words of inspiration would you share with young BPOC athletes?
“Nothing is given, everything is earned” Don’t go and ask for the respect from others, go and earn it.
