Marty MacLeod (BA '15), Admissions Specialist, SEARS
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I spent my childhood growing up in the small town of Foremost, Alberta. After high school, I went right to the University of Lethbridge into the BSc - Environmental Science program. A few years and a couple of program changes later, I graduated and began working in banking. However, I was always drawn to coming back to the University and was grateful when that became a reality.
How long have you been at ULethbridge, and what do you do here?
I have been working at ULethbridge since the summer of 2018 when I started as an Admissions Assistant. In my current role as Admissions Specialist, I assist applicants with questions concerning gaining admission to the University, as well as the processing of their applications.
What's the best part of your job?
The best part of my job by far is getting to deliver good news. It is a great feeling to let someone know that they were accepted into their dream program.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
My favourite pastime is going to movies, and watching my Leafs play.
